The Soul of the Southside is The Legacy Building's annual Juneteenth Festival. The open street Festival takes place at the the intersection of Lake St. and Minnehaha Ave. in South Minneapolis. SOTS celebrates Black liberation by showcasing local Black creatives, healers and entrepreneurs through live music, art displays, family activities, community healing, education and a black owned business market place.

Unseen Voices is an art exhibition showcasing the work of emerging and established artists from diverse backgrounds. On Saturday, February 18th 2023 we showcased over 13 local artists, in an immersive, multi-sensory journey that explored the many different ways in which black people practice love.

The Authors Happy Hour a time to connect up and coming authors with educators and librarians. This event is the perfect gateway for new writers to enter the education system. Educators and librarians are always on the lookout for fresh and captivating reads to share with their students, and this platform provides an excellent opportunity for authors to flaunt their work.
VIBE CHECK
Vibe has been a contributor to the culture since its inception in 1993. The publication has provided a platform for hip hop artists, producers, and industry insiders to share their stories, opinions, and insights with the world. Vibe's commitment to celebrating and documenting the rich history and ongoing evolution of hip hop culture makes it a beloved and respected publication that deserves to be celebrated.
The Vibe wall is an artistic masterpiece, crafted and installed with care by our Owner, Fancy. An ode too Hip Hop, it stands tall and proud – a tribute to the days when we would sit in our rooms, flipping through the pages of Vibe, immersing ourselves in the culture. The Vibe wall is a symbol of the passion and dedication of those who have contributed to the growth and prosperity of the Hip Hop culture, and it serves as a reminder of the power of media to shape and influence the world around us.
